Pipestone City-Wide Rummage Sales will be Friday and Saturday, May 4-5. Rummage Sale Listings will be available at several locations including gas stations, restaurants, Chamber parking lot, and on the community calendar at PipestoneMinnesota.com. Pipestone Ghost Walks

Pipestone Ghost Walks
Saturday Evenings, May 26 - Sept 1, 2018, 8:00 PM

This walk will meet at the Pipestone County Museum and stroll down Main Street and meander through alleyways, while a costumed guide spins tales of the bizarre and unusual as well as providing some history of the area. A highlight of the tour is a local hotel which is a source of many paranormal activities and sightings. Three locally published ghost story books are also available at the Pipestone County Museum's gift shop. Call the Pipestone County Museum for walk reservations and information at 507-825-2563. Cost is $10 per person.

Summer Car Cruizin' Events

Summer Car Cruizin' Events
Mark your calendars for the first Thursday nights from June* through September for our Pipestone Summer Car Cruizin' Nights. Classic cars, gorgeous architecture, music, food, and prizes! Join Us for these monthly fun free family events from 5:00-7:00 PM!

The fun begins at 5 PM, and we will Cruize The Square at 7:00 PM. Bring your car, truck, or motorcycle to this free event. Food will be available for purchase.

Additionally, Pipestone Cruizers and the Pipestone Chamber & CVB will be hosting a Car Show next to the Courthouse during Watertower Festival on Saturday, June 23, 2018 from 9 AM - 2 PM.

*June's Car Cruizin' may be rescheduled to accommodate the Chamber Golf Outing.

29th Annual Pipestone Water Tower Festival
Thursday - Saturday, June 21-23, 2018

In 2018 we will be celebrating the 29th Annual Water Tower Festival. Residents and visitors turn out en masse for the community's annual Water Tower Festival. The festival commemorates the restoration of the city's old concrete water tower as a community landmark.

2018 Theme: (to be announced)

Thursday Night: Kids' Night Pedal Pull & Junior Ambassador Contest
Friday Night: Community Feed, Bean Bags, & Street Dance
Saturday: Arts & Crafts Fair and Food Vendors (9am - 3pm), Parade (10am), Car Show (10am - 3pm, Registration at 9am), and much more to come!

Pipestone Civil War Days
Saturday & Sunday, August 11 & 12, 2018

Located at the Pageant Grounds on N Hiawatha Avenue, the Pipestone Civil War Days brings the Civil War to life for visitors of all ages. Approximately 300 living history re-enactors from throughout the upper Midwest portray soldiers and civilians, north and south, in camp, drill, daily life and lively battles and skirmishes. There are a number of exciting activities being planned: daily battles, Abe Lincoln, Fashion Revue, Civil War Gun display, Cannon demonstrations, children's activities, camp tours, medicine man, and of course the Grand Ball.

2nd Annual Kids' Fishing Derby

2nd Annual Kids' Fishing Derby

We're bringing this end-of-summer celebration back again in 2018 after its splashing debut last year. Over 80 kids ages 15 and under dipped their lines in the ol' quarry pond while competing for trophies and prizes given for first fish caught, shortest fish, lightest fish, heaviest fish, and longest fish.

Santa Claus & Santa's Workshop Come to Pipestone!

Even Santa thinks Pipestone is America's #CoolestSmallTown!

Join Us for this FUN, FREE event for the whole family. Santa arrives via firetruck (courtesy of the Pipestone Fire Department) at 9:50 am at the Santa Shed on the corner of Main Street and Hiawatha Avenue. Follow Santa into Ewert Community Recreation Center at 10 am until 12 noon for lots of holiday activities: photos, candy canes, and visits with Santa; and several "Make It and Take It" craft stations with 4-H. Event sponsored by the Pipestone Area Chamber of Commerce and 4-H Ambassadors.
