Pipestone Ghost WalksSaturday Nights Memorial Day - Labor Day, 2017
This walk will meet at the Pipestone County Museum and stroll down Main Street and meander through alleyways, while a costumed guide spins tales of the bizarre and unusual as well as providing some history of the area. A highlight of the tour is a local hotel which is a source of many paranormal activities and sightings. Three locally published ghost story books are also available at the Pipestone County Museum's gift shop. Call the Pipestone County Museum for walk reservations and information at 507-825-2563. Cost is $8 per person.

Summer Car Cruizin' EventsMark your calendars for the first Thursday nights from June through August for our Pipestone Summer Car Cruizin' Nights. Classic cars, gorgeous architecture, music, food, and prizes! Join Us for these monthly fun free family events from 5-7:30 pm!
A fourth Car Cruizin' will be held in conjunction with Fly-In Breakfast at the airport on Saturday morning, September 9th.
2017 Dates: Thursday June 1 (Downtown), Thursday July 6 (Downtown), August 3 (Fairgrounds). The fun begins at 5 PM, and we will Cruize The Square at 7:30 PM. Bring your car, truck, or motorcycle to this free event. Food will be available.
Additionally, Pipestone Cruizers and the Pipestone Chamber & CVB will be hosting a Car Show next to the Courthouse during Watertower Festival on Saturday, June 24, 2017 from 9 AM - 2 PM.
2017 Watertower FestivalJune 22-24, 2017
In 2017 we will be celebrating the 28th Annual Watertower Festival. Residents and visitors turn out en masse for the community's annual Watertower Festival. The festival commemorates the restoration of the city's old concrete water tower as a community landmark.
Thursday Night: Kids' Night
Friday Night: Bean Bags & Street Dance
Saturday: Arts & Crafts Fair and Food Vendors (9am - 3pm), Parade (10am), Car Show (10am - 3pm, Registration at 9am), and much more to come!

Santa Claus & Santa's Workshop Come to Pipestone!December 2, 2017
Even Santa thinks Pipestone is America's #CoolestSmallTown!
Join Us for this FUN, FREE event for the whole family. Santa arrives via firetruck (courtesy of the Pipestone Fire Department) at 9:50 am at the Santa Shed on the corner of Main Street and Hiawatha Avenue. Follow Santa into Ewert Community Recreation Center at 10 am until 12 noon for lots of holiday activities: photos, candy canes, and visits with Santa; and several "Make It and Take It" craft stations with 4-H. Event sponsored by the Pipestone Area Chamber of Commerce and 4-H Ambassadors.

Coming in 2018: Pipestone Civil War Days2018 Event! ~ August 11 & 12, 2018
Located at the Pageant Grounds on N Hiawatha the Pipestone Civil War Days brings the Civil War to life for visitors of all ages. Approximately 300 living history re-enactors from throughout the upper midwest portray soldiers and civilians, north and south, in camp, drill, daily life and lively battles and skirmishes. There are a number of exciting activities being planned: daily battles, Abe Lincoln, Fashion Revue, Cannon demonstrations, children's activities, camp tours, medicine man, and of course the Grand ball.
