Pipestone County Historical Society Annual Meeting

The Pipestone County Historical Society has scheduled its 2018 Annual Meeting for Saturday, February 10, 2018. It will take place at St. Paul’s Episcopal Church, 221 4th Street SE in Pipestone. Historical Society members will begin gathering at 1 pm for a social time with refreshments with the Society’s business meeting to begin at 1:20 pm. At 2 pm Leah Messer, Park Ranger at the Pipestone National Monument, will be presenting “History of Pipestone National Monument and its Connection to Local Citizens.” The presentation is free and open to the public.

Leah came to the Pipestone National Monument in November 2017. She has been with the National Park Service since April 2017. Prior to that she worked for the U.S. Forest Service.
