Information for Vendors

  • *NEW* Registration is now closed for 2016.

  • We have electrical service available for all vendors

  • The registration fee of $50.00 is due at the time of registration and is not refundable.

  • Upon receipt of the application and fee, the registered vendor will be designated as the only food vendor allowed to serve agreed upon food items. This will be determined by the first to register with a paid fee.

  • The Civil War Days Committee does not permit vendors to duplicate food other vendors are selling.



Information for Sutlers

  • *NEW* Registration is now closed for 2016.

  • The first 5 sutlers to register will have their registration fees waived.

  • Registration fees are due at time of registration.



  • *NEW* If the hotels in Pipestone are fully booked, there are other hotels available in the surrounding towns of Luverne, Marshall, and Worthington, MN and Flandreau and Sioux Falls, SD. There are also campgrounds available in the area. Contact the Chamber office for more information.
  • *NEW* Handguns and live ammunition are not allowed on event grounds due to City of Pipestone park ordinances.
  • The grounds will be open to the public on Saturday from 8 am - 4:30 pm and 8 pm-10pm; Sunday from 8 am - 4 pm.
  • Setup for the event begins Wednesday, August 10. Please confirm setup location with PCWD staff before you begin.
  • We will have some wonderful new additions to the PCWD grounds for 2016, thanks to the city of Pipestone, including new bathrooms at the bottom of the hill!
  • The Grand Ball will be held on the grounds and Not at the Courthouse like previous years.
  • Join us for event updates on Facebook.
  • All registered vendors and sutlers will be posted on the website with a link to your web page (when applicable) and announced on Facebook
  • There will be an ambulance on site during the event.
  • Due to Minnesota state regulations and for the sake of public safety, drones are not allowed on the site, in camp or in the parking area.
  • Please note that our insurance policy and the policy of the Hiawatha Pageant grounds does not allow dogs, horses, or other pets on the premises during public events.
