The Calumet Players are always looking for volunteers and new members. This is a group where the arts are central to everything. If you have an interest working behind the scenes of a production, helping with set construction or even if you would like to direct a production, please email us or contact one of the board members. This is a fun, energetic group of creatives - we hope to hear from you, whether it be getting in involved with us, or attending our productions.

Here is a list of things you can do to get involved with Pipestone's community theater group!
  • Direct, produce or stage manage a production
  • Usher or help with ticket sales
  • Get involved in technical theater and work behind the scenes
  • Help with set construction (carpentry, painting, molding/paper mache`)
  • Hang posters around Pipestone, put together a window display
  • Costume design and assembly, make-up, kid wrangler
  • Create props
  • Fund-raise
  • Serve on the Board of Directors

The Calumet Players are a non-profit organization that offers community theater entertainment and involvement to the Pipestone and surrounding communities. Productions are not staged for free: we apply and receive grants for some productions. Some of our largest contributors are the Southwest Minnesota Arts & Humanities Council, United Way of Pipestone, Sioux Valley Energy, Fishback Financial Corporation, & Sagio Club of Pipestone.

If you, or an organization/business is interested in sponsoring a production, or donating funds to the Calumet Players, please email us or contact one of the board members.
